I'm finally on Christmas break! College kept me busy this past semester, but I got good grades (A's and B's)! I also know how to check someone's vital signs! 
I made a Laurenator pic to celebrate Christmas. I can't wait for Christmas tomorrow! My mother keeps hinting that she got me presents I'm going to like. She also has a yummy breakfast of eggs and corn beef hash planned! And we are having sweet potatoes and marshmallows with dinner!

I'm Back!
It has been a very long time since I updated my DeviantArt account! It's hard to believe that I have had this account for over 10 years. I remember how excited I was when I first opened my account--I loved looking at art and posting my own! After being out of work for 5 months due to vertigo (I am still slowly recovering), I started to think about the little things that bring me joy. I started thinking more about my DeviantArt and decided I wanted to start posting again. I don't draw as often these days, but I still enjoy taking photos and writing poetry. I started a new gallery dedicated to pictures of benches (check that out here). I now love making handmade cards (and I am making them regularly), so my completed cards can be found here. I definitely have a backlog of handmade card pictures, so stay tuned!

Well, hello Deviantart!
It's been months since I've posted on DA or even looked at my account. I used to go on daily! I guess I have been busy, but here's to new summer goals!
Goals
1. Read more books.
2. Finish at least one short story.
Summer Cleaning
I have been cleaning my room ever since I got home from graduation! The problem is that all my college dorm stuff has no place to go; however, I don't want to get rid of it because I'll need it later when I get my own place. Anyway, I finally feel like I'm making progress with cleaning, so I decided to clean up my DeviantArt a bit. I changed my folder icons, and I also submitted some poems (A Bird, Single Tear Falling, Curses and Candy). My short stories are, of course, still works-in-progress....
Anyway, have a happy rest of the summer! :D
Graduated!
I graduated from nursing school! Of course, I still have to take my test to get my license, but I've had a little more time for hobbies lately :D
I know I still need to finish my Fairy Tale Teens short story, but I'm going to complete another short story first. This year, I took a Computer Music class as my elective, and I created a piece based off another short story I had started. I want to finish that short story (called "The Wizard of the Well") first. Then I will return to Fairy Tale Teens.
